St. George's has been active in taking the good news of the gospel to the people of Cambodia through missionary work and church planting since 1993. For the last decade, these activities have been lead by a Singaporean missionary, Rev. Mok Wai Mung, and his wife, Mee Hwa.
Originally established in the capital, Phnom Penh, ministry in Cambodia has now spread to four other major centres through the power of God's grace. The church in Cambodia is now in a new chapter as Cambodia's first ordained priest, Rev Tit Hieng, assumes leadership responsibility for the Anglican ministry in Cambodia. After more than 10 years, Rev. Mok Wai Mung and his wife, Mee Hwa, have returned to Singapore. Sadly, Mee Hwa passed away in February 2011 due to an illness.
We ask you to pray for the Anglican Episcopal Church of Cambodia Council, and specifically for Rev. Tit Hieng in his responsibilities.
