Children and Families
Sunday School
Held during both the 8.00 am and 10.00 am services for children aged between 2 and 11. We currently have regular attendances of over 200 children per week.
Sunday School is organised by age groups:
2 Year Age Group (The Rainbow Group):
- The 1 –
2-year olds meet in the Cooke’s House for fellowship. There are books, toys, and crafts available. There is an audio link to the church so you can follow the service.
3 Year Age Group:
- The 2-
3 year olds follow a programme of Bible lessons for Toddlers where children follow flexible interactive activities so they can learn about God and Jesus through themed Bible stories, games, puzzles, crafts and play.
The 3-
- The 3-
5 year olds have lessons from ’Tiddlywinks’ and “All in one Bible Fun” which helps the children explore the Bible from a new perspective, developing a love for and a relationship with the Bible as they learn and play together.
The 5-
- A Sunday School curriculum from Youthworks called Click is used: it is Bible-based and child orientated. It is subdivided into modules to cater for different levels of child development as follows:
- Blue Click: also called “Adventure” is for 5-
7’s to help them grow in their knowledge of God and their faith in Jesus – the greatest adventure of them all. - Red Click: also called “Over the Top” is geared to 8-
11’s who enjoy learning and seeing things in new interesting ways. This module aims at extending their knowledge of God and their faith in Jesus.

- Each Click level runs a 10 week programme with a specific focus I.e. What has God done for his people?
